Reports

The Reports tab includes a number of reports which provide the true power of the platform. Report availability is dependent on the product you have purchased (AM or AMM) and your device platform.

Note:

• Many of the reports that support ALEOS routers require the gateway to be running ALEOS 4.8.0 or later and have the AMMER AAF application installed.
• AirLink OS routers must be running AirLink OS 5.3.x or later and have aos-delsadapter installed.

In addition to reports for the core AMM functionality, reports are also available for optional applications which must be purchased separately.

Note: not all reports are available for ALEOS, and AirLink OS routers.

Product Support for Reports

MG routers

All AM/AMM reports are available for MG routers.

ALEOS routers

Not all AM/AMM reports are available for all ALEOS routers. A subset of reports are supported on AirLink devices running the ALEOS operating system. For a list of reports that are supported on ALEOS routers see: Reports Available on the AM and the AMM .

AirLink OS routers

Not all AM/AMM reports are available for all AirLink OS routers. A subset of reports are supported on AirLink OS routers running the AirLink OS operating system. For a list of reports that are supported on AirLink OS routers see: Reports Available on the AM and the AMM .

For AMM 2.18, Event Viewer is the only available report for AirLink OS routers.

AirLink Manager

AM provides a subset of the functionality of the AMM. Reports are available on AM are designed for customers with fixed assets that are not generally mobile. For a list of reports supported see: Reports Available on the AM and the AMM .

The following table lists the reports available on the AM and AMM.

Report Templates

Report Templates are scheduled reports to be run in the future. Users can configure the report to run on a scheduled day at a specific time.

The example below shows that the Link Report was scheduled for April 11 at 1:00AM for five gateways and the Weekly Diagnostics Report was scheduled April 14 at 9:00PM for one gateway. When there is no time listed, it runs at midnight.

To edit a report, click on its name . To delete a report (or several), checkmark it and click on Delete.

Core Reports

Reports provide the true power of the AM and AMM products. Core reports are included with the baseline installation of the AMM and include the following categories:

• Network Reports
• Diagnostic Reports
• Bandwidth Reports
• Tracker Reports
• Advanced Reports

Additional reports are available for optional packages that may be purchased for the AMM. For more information see Reports for Optional Applications .

Network Reports

Network reports provide information about a gateway’s network usage and are available under the Reports > Network menu. The following network reports are available:

• Network: Availability Trend Report

• Network: Availability Details Report

• Network: Coverage Map Report

• Network: Coverage Trails Report

• Network: Link Utilization Report

• Network: Cellular Network Inventory

• Network: Cellular Technology Map

• Network: Cellular Technology Trail Report

• Network: VPN Utilization

Diagnostic Reports

Diagnostic reports provide diagnostic information about gateways and are located under the Reports > Diagnostics menu. The following reports are included for Diagnostics:

• Diagnostics: Shutdown Reason

Bandwidth Reports

Bandwidth reports provide information about gateway bandwidth usage are located under the Reports > Bandwidth menu. The following reports are available for Bandwidth:

• Bandwidth: Bandwidth Consumption
• Bandwidth: Bandwidth Coverage Map
• Bandwidth: Top Client Activity
• Bandwidth: Client Usage Map
• Bandwidth: Client History
• Bandwidth: Client Services

Tracker Reports

Tracker is an application that analyzes GPS information and provides information about gateway locations. The reports are located under the Reports > Tracker and include the following:

• Tracker: Gateway Trip Coverage
• Tracker: Gateway Trips
• Tracker: Gateway Trip Trend
• Tracker: Trip Replay
• Tracker: Zone Summary
• Tracker: Zone Times
• Tracker: Zone Map
• Tracker: Zone Crossing Summary

Note: prior to AMM 2.16, the Tracker reports were located under the Reports > Geographic menu. In AMM 2.16, the Reports > Geographic menu was renamed to Reports > Tracker.

Advanced Reports

Advanced reports are for users of the system who have advanced knowledge in working with device log files and are located under the Reports > Advanced menu. There are currently two Advanced reports:

• Advanced: Event Viewer
• Advanced: Statistics Graph

Note: these reports require an advanced level of knowledge. For more information on using these reports, please contact Support.

Reports for Optional Applications

The following optional applications can be purchased for the AMM, each of which provide additional reports:

• Telemetry

• Asset Manager

For more information about these optional packages, see the respective documents listed in Related Publications or contact Support. Note that the Wi-Fi reports are only available for the Four Port Gateway, versions 3.5.1 and higher.

Telemetry

Telemetry is an optional application that collects and analyzes vehicle telemetry data to provide information about vehicle usage. The Telemetry reports are available when the optional Telemetry application has been purchased for the AMM and are located under the Reports > Telemetry menu. The following reports are included with Telemetry:

• Telemetry: Driving Behavior

• Telemetry: Vehicle Hours

• Telemetry: Fuel Fillup

• Telemetry: Fuel Consumption

• Telemetry: Fuel Consumption Trend

• Telemetry: Vehicle Diagnostics Report

• Telemetry: Odometer

• Telemetry: Odometer Check

• Telemetry: Unauthorized Usage

Note: Select Telemetry reports are supported for ALEOS routers in AMM 2.16 and above.

Asset Manager

The Asset Manager is an optional application for MG routers that tracks assets attached to asset tracking devices. The Asset Manager reports are available when the optional Asset Manager application has been purchased for the AMM and are located under the Reports > Assets menu. The following reports are included with Asset Manager:
