VPN

The VPN panel allows the adminstrator full control over a secure, temporary support connection from the AMM. When enabled, it establishes an encrypted connection from the AMM to Semtech’s jump hosts in the cloud, allowing authorized Tech Support, Field, and Engineering personnel to securely assist with troubleshooting or maintenance. The connection can be turned on or off at any time by the administrator, ensuring customer control and data protection.

• Semtech’s cproxy host id.
• Password provided by Semtech
• Connect button

Once these fields have been completed, the AMM will enable a Connect button.

Click the Connect button, and if all the credentials are correct, the AMM will set up a VPN connection from the AMM to the Semtech cproxy server.

• Disconnect button

Click the Disconnect button to terminate the VPN connection.

Note:

• This panel will only allow one VPN connection to Semtech’s jump hosts.
• The panel is only available to the administrator user.

To view the status of the VPN Support connection, go to Admin > System > Status.
